Looking into currently existing posture trackers. Finding positives and negatives, identifying frequented technology, and looking into user perception of each product.

The first step in this process was to figure out what drives a consumer to purchase and use a posture correction device. To do this, I conducted a couple variations of user research; The first of which was a detailed timeline of a user's experience with one.

The next step was to talk to young students / workers and figure out how they want to go about maintaining good posture. Their voices are important, for they are already trying to get ahead on this — They care heavily about their long term health.

Based off interviews, I felt the best way to break into this market was to make a corrector that was great for office places. In order to do this, users would share the product, compete with other users and only use it when needed. One of the biggest issues mentioned was the propensity to stop using it — which would be ok if others were using the same device.

The following simplified presentation is how I bundled my idea to potential investors. It includes explorations into form as well as a fully fleshed UI/UX suite. It also props the product as a sleek, modern way to keep yourself and your back health in check. Enjoy!
